The Challenge Rivals - Episode 5

On Episode 5 of Rivals, Adam shared his infatuation with Jenn with all of America. I kind of feel bad for him. He kept talking about how he has had a crush on her for several years, how he wants to kiss her everytime she walks into a room, and how he can see himself seriously dating her. He finally got her into his room and they snuggled and talked. He wanted to make a move but Jenn did not like that Ty was in the room. In reality, Jenn was leading him on. Basically, she is using his love for her to get her further in the game although she is apparently disgusted by him. She was bragging about this to the girls in the house. At one point she referred to him as creepy. I hope it gets back to him because he definitely deserves better!

The teams had to compete in a challenge in which they had to ride some rapids in kayak. The team to complete the course the fastest won the challenge and the team to do so the slowest, lost. For the guys, Johnny and Tyler won once again. They are starting to become a power house team and could potentially be considered a threat later. The team that did the worst again was Wes and Kenny. They were disqualified because they fell off of the kayak and did not get back on within 30 seconds. For the girls, the winners were Jenn and Mandy. They won $2,000 plus were guaranteed safety from the jungle. The losing team was Sarah and Katelynn. They were also disqualified for the same reason as Wes and Kenny.

When they got back to the house for deliberations, Jonna and Jasmine were picked to go into the jungle to compete against Sarah and Katelynn. The reason was that they went against everyone in the house and voted their own way during deliberations in week 1. This seemed fair but Jasmine was really upset yet pumped to go into the jungle.

The challenge at the jungle was something that everyone thought Sarah and Katelynn would own. One teammate from each team was locked in a cabinet and buried under bales of hay. The other team member had to dig them out and then they had to solve a puzzle. Sarah and Katelynn are both supposedly the best at puzzles, but sadly Jonna and Jasmine had them beat, which was a surprise to everyone in the house.

Jasmine said that when she went back to the house that she would be out for blood. Is she all talk? I guess we will find out on Wednesday's new episode of Rivals!
